Tel Todd, O.D.

Dr. Tel Todd was born and raised on a fifth-generation dairy farm west of Bozeman. After graduating from Bozeman High School, he attended Minnesota State University, where he studied Human Biology and Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning Academic All-American honors as a member of the wrestling team. Dr. Todd attended Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2017. His training included clinical rotations with Indian Health Service, the United States Air Force, an OD/MD private practice, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Desiring to take his education and training further, Dr. Todd was selected for a hospital-based ocular disease residency on the Navajo Reservation in Shiprock, NM. He has extensive training in primary eye care, particularly medical and emergency ocular needs. Residency gave him experience managing complex disease cases and co-managing patients with other medical specialties.

Dr. Todd is excited to be back home in Montana providing patient-focused and comprehensive eye care, while developing lasting relationships with the community that his family has been a part of since 1879.

Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebekah, who also grew up in Bozeman, and their children. The Todds live on their family farm, appreciating the wonderful setting Southwest Montana has to offer. Dr. Todd is an avid outdoorsman; a favorite past time of his is fishing mountain lakes. He looks forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones while serving the community inside and outside of the clinic.
