Joe Colella, O.D.

A University of Massachusetts, Amherst graduate with degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dr. Colella worked at a Basic Biomedical Research facility on a cancer project for three years prior to Optometry School.
Dr. Colella graduated from New England College of Optometry with honors and completed clinical training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Colella has a special interest in glaucoma and has been treating eye disease and injury for twenty years.
Dr. Colella relocated to Bozeman from North Carolina where he was in private practice for twenty years.
Jody Fink, O.D.
Dr. Jody Fink is a Montana native growing up in Helena. She graduated from Montana State University – Bozeman with degrees in Biology and Biochemistry. Dr. Fink attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2005.
Licensed in both Wyoming and Montana, she began her career at a rural Wyoming practice. While in Wyoming, she gained experience in ocular trauma and specialty contact lens fittings. During her two years in Wyoming, she built a loyal patient base and enjoyed working with each of her patients.
Returning to Montana, Dr. Fink joined Advanced EyeCare Associates in October of 2007 and is currently working in both the Belgrade and Bozeman offices. She provides primary care optometry as well as contact lens evaluations. Dr. Fink enjoys working with children and is excited to increase pediatric services at Advanced Eyecare Associates. She practices primary care and vision therapy in both the Belgrade and Bozeman offices.
In her free time, she can be found enjoying the diverse outdoor activities the area has to offer. Some of which include skiing, hiking, fly fishing, scuba diving, local area athletics and following her husbands competition BBQ quest. She is also looking forward to getting involved in local community activities and organizations.

Cynthia Johnson, O.D.
Dr. Cynthia Johnson graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in 1987.
A Montana native, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Montana, a Bachelor degree in Microbiology. Dr. Johnson opened her own practice in Eastern Montana, and at the same time contracted with the Fort Peck Tribes to provide care at the Indian Health Clinic in Wolf Point and Poplar MT.
In 1993, she moved to Bozeman with her two young daughters and husband. Dr. Johnson joined Advanced EyeCare Associates in 1997.
Outside of work she is busy with her daughters' schedules and enjoying life in Southwestern Montana.

Doug Kimball, O.D.
Dr. Doug Kimball graduated from Chester High School and received his undergraduate degree from Montana State University. He attended Southern California College of Optometry and received his doctorate in 1991.
After two years of solo practice in Bozeman, Dr. Kimball joined Advanced EyeCare Associates in 1994. Since returning to Bozeman, Dr. Kimball has been active in the community. Past services include the Gallatin Empire Lions Club, Prevent Child Abuse, as well as past president of the MSU Athletic Scholarship Association, Riverside County Club and Montana Optometric Association. He is currently the clinical director for Special Olympics Opening Eyes and team optometrist for MSU Athletics. Dr. Kimball was awarded the Young Optometrist of the Year award in 2001.
Away from work, he is an avid golfer and Bobcat fan, and enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Kimball and his wife, Tracy have two daughters, Kasey and Sydney.

Kyle McMurray, O.D.
Dr. Kyle McMurray was born in Manhattan, Montana. He grew up enjoying the outdoor opportunities Montana affords its natives, hunting, fishing, and trapping.
Upon his graduation from Manhattan High School, Dr. McMurray attended Montana State University, completing his undergraduate work before going to Pacific University in Oregon for his studies in optometry. In 1983 he graduated with honors from Pacific and returned to Montana to begin practicing.
Dr. McMurray joined Dr. Jim Williams and Dr. Bob Hawks in the Bozeman office in 1983. Seeing a need for an optometrist in Belgrade, Dr. McMurray began a Belgrade office in 1985. Dr. McMurray has enjoyed splitting his time between the two offices for nineteen years.
Dr. McMurray raised his three children Kelly, Brian, and Amanda, in the valley. While the attended Belgrade Schools, Dr. McMurray served on the Belgrade School Board. He also co-coached a girl's softball team on which his daughter Amanda played.
In 1987 he was named the Young Optometrist of the Year by the Montana Optometric Association. This began his time of service on the State Board from 1988-1997, serving as President in 1996.
Currently, Dr. McMurray and his wife Vanessa live in Bozeman. Besides spending time with their combined family of six, they baby-sit their seven grandchildren. In the summer months they fish the mountain lakes. The autumn Saturdays provide Dr. McMurray with an outlet for his love of the game of football as he attends Montana State University games. Bobcat Basketball is a winter pastime. And always, Dr. McMurray thoroughly enjoys his relationships with long time patients and making new relationships with first time patients.
